The myth lives on. The ancient and yet timeless story of Orpheus and Eurydice, of lost love and loneliness, became a memorable experience in Claudio Monteverdi’s masterpiece "L’Orfeo" in 1607 as well as 350 years later in the Brazilian cult movie "Orfeu Negro". In this scenic concert ancient Greece and the Dionysian carnival in Rio de Janeiro, brilliant Baroque opera and sweeping bossa nova merge into timeless poetry and passion.
