The Groove of Bach

From Baroque to bebop – this is the motto behind this swinging tribute to the genius of Johann Sebastian Bach. Accordion, hurdy-gurdy and marimba swing together with the cembalo and baroque oboe to harmonies and melodies of the Thomaskantor. The art of counterpoint and the dynamics of the fugue turn into a new experience to the rhythms of jazz. Choirs from St Pölten and surroundings will meet the instrumental ensemble to perform a "sing-along".
