NY presents Lab

  A lab designed by artists from New York will take place during the New York festival, bringing together three people from different fields of art for a week. The choreographer and dancer Aszure Barton, violinist, singer and performance artist Iva Bittová, and Victor Morales, video-game modifier and artist in residence at the Festspielhaus St. Pölten 2009/2010, as well as other special guests will deal with a subject that has yet to be agreed. They don’t know each other and will have a few days to find out if they can develop an idea together to provide a working basis for a large-scale project in one of the following seasons. The lab also questions the possibilities and preconditions that artists have to bring with them in order to make a lab like this work.
