Education

Cultural education at the Festspielhaus St. Pölten is not restricted to dance and music pedagogic work for and with school classes. Cultural experience must not be limited to consumption. For everyone for whom culture is more than a stage programme, more than mere background music or a beautiful evening in nice company, the Festspielhaus offers plenty of opportunities to participate actively:

• Getting in contact with international and regional artists at the Café Publik
• Dance pedagogic preparation with SZENE BUNTE WÄHNE
  
• Participation for "post-professionals" with the Club/60 dance- and choir-workshops
• Youth Club/300: various workshops under the direction of international artists on subjects such as dance and movement, music, drama, theatre and literature, media and visual arts for 300 young people.
• Keyboard Music Festival supported by Keyboard Tigers and Keyboard Panthers
• Nox Illuminata Festival, merging ancient music with modern sounds and standing for hearty hospitality, offering to learn ballroom dances from the 15th century and to immerse themselves in the olden days.
• Tamburi Mundi frame-drum-workshops
• Dance-workshops for pupils with Maura Morales
• KIJUBU, the children’s and young people’s book festival 
• Tango Festival-workshops "Tango X"
• Master class for dance professionals and students with Daniel Jaber
• Culmination of the cultural education year at Österreich TANZT dance festival
