For young professional dancers and choreographers

These workshops for young professionals are a great opportunity to work with some of the extraordinary companies performing at Festspielhaus St. Pölten. The masterclasses focus either on a special artistic approach, a certain technique or various choreographic tools. But most importantly, they provide an ideal setting to sharpen your skills, really get in touch with the international artists and enlarge your network!

The masterclasses are designed for young professional dancers and choreographers attending a regular dance training or who are currently studying at a dance-university.

Masterclass regular These 2 to 3 hour workshops focus on a specific technique of the company or its repertoire and conclude with a Q&A session.
Masterclass intensive In this 4 to 5 hour format we work intensively on more complex content (technique, repertoire, choreographic tools) and conclude with a Q&A session.

Registration

How do I get my masterclass-ticket?

• 1. Registration: The registration for the masterclass you want attend via mail at kulturvermittlung[a]festspielhaus.at is mandatory.
• 2. Booking: The ticket office will send you a payment slip by e-mail. Only after the Master Class ticket has been paid, the place is fixed.

For what shows can I get a young professional-ticket and how do I get it?

Masterclass-Participants get a reduced ticket for 15 EUR for every dance-performance at Festspielhaus St. Pölten.

Available depending on availability on the very same day of the performance at the box office (no guarantee) or in advance via the ticket office. Please mention that this is a Young-Professional-Ticket when booking or buying.

FAQ ǀ Terms & Conditions

What if a class is sold out?
Waiting list: Starting 72 hours before the particular masterclass date, any available places will be given to people on the waiting list. Available places will be allocated chronologically according to the date of registration for the masterclass.

What if I have a ticket, but won’t be able to attend class?
Cancellation policy: In the event of withdrawal of registration until 72 hours before the start of the masterclass, the fee can be refunded. In order to guarantee the best possible conditions for all participants, cancellations received after this deadline cannot be considered.

Is there more I need to know?

• The masterclasses are designed for young professional dancers and choreographers attending a regular dance training or who a currently studying at a dance-university.
• In the event that the masterclass has to be cancelled the fee will be refunded.
• Pricing: The masterclass- fee for the masterclass regular is EUR 15, for the masterclass intensive EUR 25 and the young professional-ticket can be purchased for EUR 15.
