Dance/Music/Classic When electricity radically changed the urban landscape in the early 20th century, it accelerated the (sensory) lives of modern human beings considerably. The rhythmic compositions of Igor Stravinsky captured this new sense of vitality in sonic form. Inspired by the hidden worlds in Stravinsky’s ballet Petrushka, Elisabeth Borgermans and Thomas Vantuycom will devise an abstract choreography with nine young dancers: an unconventional evening of dance that thrills with the youthful spirit of its ensemble and turns into a genuinely electrifying occasion thanks to the live music provided by the Tonkunstler Orchestra.
