With his new piece MOMO, Ohad Naharin has accomplished an angry and sharp-eyed portrait of our times, in which chaos, passion and the loss of individuality come to the fore. To achieve this, the legendary Israeli choreographer has relied on artistic synergies: what turns out to be two independent choreographic strands on stage was created through a collaborative artistic process with Ariel Cohen and the performers of the Batsheva ensemble.
