Music/Pop As “Voodoo Jürgens”, David Öllerer has been making traditional Viennese song the new face of Austrian pop for some years now. Despite his move from a tiny bar to the big stage, the Amadeus Award-winner has stayed true to his everyday philosophy and bitter-sweet melancholy. His band Ansa Panier, with accordion and fiddle, bass and piano, delivers terrifyingly beautiful melancholy as the singer tips over from dialect poetry into Sprechgesang cabaret.
Voodoo Jürgens Vocals, Guitar, David Schweighart Drums, Martin Dvoran Bass, Bernd Lichtscheidl Keys, Matthias Frey Violin, Alexander Kranabetter Trumpet, Bugle
