Music/Jazz/Fusion British guitarist and composer John McLaughlin was one of the founding fathers of the fusion genre, mixing together jazz, rock and Indian influences in an irresistible cocktail. He helped to shape the spirit of the 60s that is still alive today. However, McLaughlin did not get stuck in the mists of those revolutionary times: he jammed with Hendrix, worked with Santana and continues to be a formative influence on the jazz and fusion scene. On stage he exudes calm while demonstrating his virtuosity on the guitar.
