* Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Concerto for Piano and Orchestra in G major KV 453
* Anton Bruckner Symphony No. 3 in d minor «Wagner»

Classical Music  In his third guest appearance with the Tonkunstler Orchestra, Robert Trevino turns to Bruckner’s Third Symphony, often dubbed the ‘Wagner Symphony’. At the time of its composition, however, the composer had little luck with this work dedicated to the “master of all masters”. At its premiere in front of the Viennese public in 1877, the piece was a hopeless flop. Ninety years previously, by contrast, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart enjoyed a very different reception. When he wrote his Piano Concerto in G major K. 453, he had long been a star in Vienna. And pianist Elena Bashkirova will demonstrate exactly why.
