Classical Music The pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii, who was born blind, revealed his vast musical talent in early childhood, discovering the piano as his means of expression. Now this audience favourite plays solo for the first time with a programme of musical highlights: an evening of absolute masterpieces from the lyric piano repertoire comes to a thrilling climax with Chopin’s ballads, whose fourth is regarded as Chopin’s “most admirable” work, with which pianists can prove their technical perfection while at the same time being able to display a sensitive range of expression.
