Dance/Contemporary Ballet A brand new work by American star choreographer Richard Siegal and homage to mark Merce Cunningham’s 100th birthday: ‘New Ocean’ is the second full length choreography that the one-time Festspielhaus artist in residence will create for his new company Ballet of Difference, to be premiered in Cologne in September 2019. Here Siegal tracks down the mythical Greek god Oceanus inspired by music by John Cage, and allows chaos to invade the cosmos.
