Operetta All against one! Gabriel von Eisenstein left a drunken fancy-dress ball with his friend Falke, who ended up lying in the street wearing a bat costume. Falke, who became a laughing stock for many passing strangers, refuses to accept this ignominy and plans an elaborate course of revenge … With Die Fledermaus, first performed in 1874, Johann Strauss achieved the pinnacle of Viennese operetta. Now the ensemble from Bühne Baden allow the classic to be heard at the Festspielhaus.
