Christina Ebner is a dancer, dance teacher and choreographer who is convinced of the importance and power of the moving body and dance’s ability to express individuality and connect us with ourselves, with others and with time and space. Christina started dancing at an early age and hasn't stopped since. She has participated in several artistic projects in Austria and abroad - including intergenerational and inclusive ones – and teaches dance in different settings. She also heads the collective Tanzconnec:tive which is dedicated to creating diverse encounters with contemporary dance. Christina studied Contemporary Dance Pedagogy, Primary School Teaching and Sports, Culture and Event Management in Vienna and Tyrol. She has worked as a dance educator at Festspielhaus St. Pölten since 2022.
Katharina Holzweber studied Dance Education at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna and Physics at the University of Vienna. As well as pursuing dance studies projects in the interdisciplinary field of dance and physics, she is a dance educator at Prinzersdorf and St. Pölten Music School and assistant choreographer with the Lower Austrian Youth Dance Company. The idea of a community where everybody dances emerged from the project "Le Grand Continental" (2022) under the choreographic direction of Sylvain Emard. Katharina Holzweber was lead dance coach for this large-scale project supported by over 100 dance enthusiasts and which now continues as a community at Festspielhaus St. Pölten. Katharina loves being able to pass on the joy of dancing, regardless of age and level.
