Neoclassical music Minimal piano arpeggios, deep bass, driving percussion and floating string synths – Albanese knows how to paint atmospheric soundscapes. With Blackbirds and the Sun of October, he now takes his audience on a journey through the landscapes and history of his native Monferrato. After living in Berlin for several years, the Italian pianist returned there in 2022. In dreamlike compositions, he merges the colours, the changing seasons and the myths of the region into tonal masterpieces. Albanese draws on musical traditions and enriches them with experimental nuances – a true feast for the senses.

Federico Albanese released his solo piano debut The Houseboat and the Moon in 2014. This was followed by acclaimed albums, numerous works for film and television and sold-out concert tours.
