Back in the program in 2026 after overwhelming demand! When brass music soars to cinematic heights, no ear remains untouched. Thomas Gansch and his supergroup make film music classics shine in new splendor – virtuosic, rousing and full of wit.

Brass music has been experiencing a remarkable renaissance for several decades. Trumpet mastermind Thomas Gansch is not entirely uninvolved in this, as he regularly delivers brass masterpieces between technical perfection and humorous wit. Gansch is now proving that he is far from running out of breath with his own brass band, the Thomas Gansch Blasmusik Supergroup. Together with colleagues from the Egerländer Musikanten, Da Blechhauf'n, LaBrassBanda and the Vienna Philharmonic, he now blows film music classics into the audience's ears. In the current program, they pay homage to Hollywood's grand masters such as Korngold, Morricone and John Williams.

Born in St. Pölten, Thomas Gansch is a co-founder of Mnozil Brass and a former member of the Vienna Art Orchestra. As a virtuoso trumpeter, composer and entertainer, he has left his mark on the music scene - always with a successful blend of technical brilliance and lively humor.
