Molden & Seiler ft. Das Frauenorchester

When two of the great voices of the Austrian music scene meet, the result is something very promising: Ernst Molden and Christopher Seiler combine a musical experience that makes you laugh, think and enjoy with deep Viennese humour.

Austropop What at first glance appears to be an unusual combination unfolds an astonishing harmony: Ernst Molden's sensitive songwriting and Christopher Seiler's distinctive voice.

For three years now, the duo known as ‘de zwidan zwa’ has been thrilling audiences with their compelling reinterpretations. On their new album, which features many of their own songs, some of which were written collaboratively, they venture into the Prater – or rather, into the ‘Broda’. The new work can be heard live at the Festspielhaus St. Pölten – accompanied by Marlene Lacherstorfer, Maria Petrova and Marie-Theres Stickler, who lend the songs additional depth as Das Frauenorchester (The Women's Orchestra).

Christopher Seiler, known for his musical wit, appears primarily as the singer of the band Seiler und Speer. Ernst Molden inspires with his versatile projects in solo concerts as well as in collaborations with renowned artists. In 2024, Molden & Seiler were honoured with the Amadeus Award in the Jazz/World/Blues category for their work together.
