Dance In her latest production, the choreographer creates a multi-layered dialogue about strength and vulnerability, about postponing and living through feelings. In a pulsating community, the dancers weave their individual expressiveness and collective dynamics into a dense web of relationships. Under Sharon Eyal, dance, embedded in light and shadow, becomes a language beyond words.

Choreographer Sharon Eyal worked as artistic director of the Batsheva Dance Company before founding her own company. Together with her artistic partner Gai Behar, she is known for her highly energetic, sometimes hypnotic works. These are characterised by the heritage of classical dance, but shaped by raw physicality and purposeful movement language, which has earned her the title ‘uncompromising innovator of ballet’ (William Forsythe) for good reason. Sharon Eyal last performed at the Festspielhaus St. Pölten as part of the opening of the 2023/2024 season.
