Virtuoso, young, powerful. In Trailer Park, Moritz Ostruschnjak explores how digital life is transforming our perception and bodily experience. A unique performance space emerges on stage, where the analogue and the digital merge.

A jumper featuring the Mona Lisa? An umbrella with a Magritte apple? Socks with Monet’s water lilies floating on them? What remains of a journey?

With souvenirs, we expand our very own personal mini-museum after every trip. Little by little, memories accumulate in our wardrobes. Choreographer Alexander Vantournhout delves deep into his own collection of souvenirs and makes them the star of the show. Jumpers, trousers and all manner of garments come together to form a choreographed story. Sleeves appear in unexpected places, trouser legs transform into ball gowns and zips open up pathways to entirely new dimensions. What once dangled from a coat hanger now unfolds into captivating scenes.

Alexander Vantournhout, working at the intersection of contemporary dance and circus, is known for his physically precise, curious movement language and his playful use of objects. Souvenirshop is his first creation for a young audience.
