Irish Folk Symphonic

Daoirí Farrell, one of the most distinctive voices in modern Irish folk music, strikes the unmistakable tone between intimacy and storytelling with his singing and bouzouki. Mark Redmond complements him with the softly breathing uilleann pipes, whose sound is less cutting than embracing. Together with the Tonkünstler Orchestra, intimate song forms are combined with great orchestral breadth.
