Dance/Performance/Lecture For one day, the Festspielhaus itself becomes a stage and is transformed into a vibrant venue for contemporary dance, lectures and workshops. Whether in the Großer Saal or the Kleiner Saal, in the foyers, on the rehearsal stages or in the café – every corner of the Festspielhaus will be used and offers the opportunity to experience dance up close and to enter into dialogue with artists, theorists and other visitors.

The theme of the day – community spirit – focuses on the value of solidarity and collective action. In a time characterised by individualisation and polarisation, we want to deliberately create space for encounters with this format. Between empathy, humanity and respect, we invite you to celebrate the value of community on stage and in life.

With performances, workshops and lectures by Yasmeen Godder, Niv Sheinfeld / Oren Laor, Alessandro Sciarroni, Prof. Susan Foster, the Festspielhaus communities and many more.
