Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan

With All Ears, Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan transports us to a world where sound is not only heard but also physically experienced. Choreographer Cheng Tsung-lung makes the inaudible visible and translates everyday sounds into movement.

On an empty stage, a soundscape emerges in which space, time and rhythm are determined by acoustic perception. Every vibration, every tone becomes an impulse for physical movement and a source of emotional resonance. Together with sound designers Tu Duu-chih and Tu Chun-tang and composer Esteban Fernandez, Cheng Tsung-lung creates an immersive sound architecture that immerses the dancers in a new dimension of movement and feeling. Light, lasers and costumes enhance this sensory experience and reinforce the feeling of becoming part of a living, physical sound space. All Ears invites you to experience sound in a completely new way: it is not only heard, but also seen and deeply felt.

Cheng Tsung-lung has been the artistic director of Cloud Gate Dance Theatre since 2020. An internationally renowned choreographer, he has worked with dance companies around the world, creating works that are celebrated for their poetic, cinematic aesthetics.
